Day1: Uganda Safari from Kampala -Lake Mburo National Park

Our guide/driver picks you from your hotel of residence at 07:30am in Kampala from your Hotel or place of residence. Drive to Mbarara (283km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Proceed to Lake Mburo. The park is renowned for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, topi and elands including the rare shoebill, crested crane, pelicans, fish eagle, heron and many water birds, a taste of an evening game drive enroute is very rewarding you are likely to see elands, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, and zebras. Overnight and dinner at Mihingo Safari Lodge Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day2: Uganda Safari to Lake Mburo-Bwindi

Begin the day with a morning boat cruise amidst the Hippos is amazing, thereafter drive to Bwindi with a game drive enroute and visit to Igongo Cultural village this is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum. Lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day3: Uganda Safari to Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast set off early with guides to track the gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed World Heritage site,one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas – believed to number just 720. There also a substantial chimpanzee population(chimpanzee trekking) and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together,the primate haven;enjoy this and so much more on this exiting experience.

Time permitting, spend the afternoon on a community foot safari to explore the life style of the people living and surrounding the park. Return to camp exhilarated to relieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs (Lodge facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day4: Uganda Safari to Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth

After early breakfast head for Ishasha, which is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, carry out a game drive where you may sight tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is dominated by acacia woodland and scrub-land and features the meandering Ishasha River, banked by a riparian forest. After picnic lunch drive all the way to the northern sector of the park Meals and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) dinner and overnight. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth

Early morning game drives to see more animals that habit this park, that include predators like lions and Leopards, are a site to long for. Over 500 bird species have been identified here, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers. They include the black bee-eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors. Queen Elizabeth National is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices.
It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After lunch take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.  The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Uganda Safari:Queen Elizabeth-Kibale

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Drive to Kibale ready for next days trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge. A stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Uganda Safari to Kibale Chimpanzee trekking

After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda. It is home to our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L.Hoests monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white Columbus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. You may also stop over at any tea plantation along the road if you wish. Have an evening tour of the crater region, visit top of the world, the natural bridge. On a clear day you will be able to have a view of the snow cap on the Rwenzori. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge (Lodge facility). A stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Uganda Safari to Kibale-Hoima

Today is dedicated for a hike to meet the magnificent pressured waterfalls flying over the Nyakasura Mabere caves. This walk provides beautiful scenery of what will surely satisfy your expectations on your maiden tour of these caves. Thereafter drive to Hoima, overnight and dinner at KonTik Hotel Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 9: Uganda Safari to Hoima- Murchison Falls

Today leave Hoima for to Murchison Falls National Park. Continue to the spectacularly site at the top of the fall where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7 meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…”the Murchison Falls. Overnight at Dinner at Parra Safari Lodge Meal plan: Dinner.

Day 10: Uganda Safari to Murchison Falls

Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee. After your cup of coffee, cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park.Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschilds giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck,Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the Devils Cauldron. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your quite heavy hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the worlds longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Day 11: Uganda Safari from Murchison Falls-Kampala

Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. Drive back to via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must. After lunch, drive to Kampala at your convenience where you will be dropped off to a hotel of your choice or place of residence.
